New Sanitation and Safety Guidelines
I regularly receive new information and will be updating my guidelines accordingly, I ask that you read the guidelines before you come in for any future appointment so that you are able to agree and adhere to the requirements.
Confirm your appointment:
Please confirm your appointment either by phone or via text response in a timely manner. Your confirmation constitutes your agreement to follow my Salon’s Covid-19 guidelines.
Mandatory face masks:
I am asking all clients to bring their own mask or I will provide you with one that is made of cloth and has been properly washed/sanitized for you to wear for the duration of your service. Clients will wear a mask at all times. Simply put...NO mask, NO service.
Client illness/symptoms:
I kindly ask that if you have experienced any flu-like symptoms in the last 72 hours that you stay home. In case of any last minute cancellation, I will waive any cancellation fee during this period.
Screening:
Upon your arrival, you will be scanned with a laser forehead thermometer. Any clients with a temperature above 99 degrees Fahrenheit will not be permitted to enter and will need to reschedule. If you have had contact with an individual who has tested positive for Covid-19, you will not be permitted to enter the salon until the end of a 14-day self-isolation period.
Travel:
Clients who have travelled out of state via an airport will also be denied entry to the salon until a 14-day self-isolation period is completed.
Come alone:
The Salon will be operating on a “single client” initiative. No friends allowed. Clients who are married and come with their significant other/spouse are exempt.
Door/Entry:
My door will remain closed and I will notify you once your appointment is ready to commence. If I am running behind, I suggest that you kindly wait outside in your car until I notify you.
NO BEVERAGE SERVICE :
I have temporarily suspended my beverage service. You may bring your own beverage.
Wash your hands/Sanitation:
I ask that you wash and sanitize your hands upon arrival. You will have access to my bathroom sink where you will find a hand/nail brush suspended in Barbicide solution. Use this brush with hand soap to scrub underneath your nails and hands. When done rinse brush and return inside dispense jar. Please use a paper towel to dry your hands and dispose of it in the trash can.
Please do not bring in any coats, purses, backpacks, etc if you can help it. The less you carry, the greater the safety. There will be no books or magazines at this time. Please bring your own reading material.
Still worried?
If you are worried or fearful about coming back into my salon, I completely understand. You can always reschedule your appointment for a time when you feel less so. Safety of my clients and that of myself, is my top priority.
Here is an added safety measure I have taken:
In accordance to State Law and the governing powers of the State Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists, All licensed professionals must use a hospital grade germicidal, antiviral chemical cleaner to sanitize our tools, work surface and styling stations in between every client and before servicing any clients. I have always abided by the recommended and required regulations.
But recently as an added safety measure upon the recommendation of a doctor, I have purchased a UV-C Sterilization Light.
I will be using this sterilization light at the end of every work day to thoroughly sanitize my salon work space and salon bathroom.
In recent independent studies, research shows that the UV-C light is 99% effective in killing/eradicating any virus, bacteria or microorganism (dust mites) that are present in the atmosphere. It uses UV-C rays that are 30X stronger than that of the Sun’s to disrupt the nucleic acid present in the virus and in turn renders it immobile and ineffective, unable to infect a host. These powerful rays also cleanse the ozone, eliminating bacteria and odors.
I LOVE MY CLIENTS!!! Please know that I am very excited to see you all!! I love you and am very happy that you will be returning to my salon. Although I will miss my usual hugs and hand shakes, I will be ready to greet you with the warmest smile and hello. 🤗❤️
